ADULT MINISTRIES
The Sunday School hour runs 9:00 a.m.-10:20 a.m. We offer special studies such as:
Saints and Sinners Class – This class welcomes all who want to be part of a weekly discussion of scripture as led by the Cokesbury quarterly series. Class begins at 9:00 a.m.
Disciples of Christ – Disciples of Christ is a class for adult men and women (young, mature, and old). Our attention is to the Bible verse that reads “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16. “World” is defined as all people. Since God gave us Christ as our Savior, we, in this class, have elected to study intently the four Gospels and discuss the life of Christ and the teachings of Christ since they relate directly to us. There is no teacher in the class, only a facilitator, as this is a much-discussion class eager to learn as much about our Savior as possible. WHAT COULD BE MORE IMPORTANT? Please join us or at least try us out. The Holy Spirit will be holding our right hands. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. in the classroom next to the Fellowship Hall until we are overflowing; can’t wait for that!
Short-term Bible Studies – At various times throughout the year, we offer 6-8 week studies for those who cannot commit to longer schedules. Many are video led followed by both daytime and evening group study.
